colleges throughout Alberta.

NAIT (Northwest Campuses) Scholarship — Phone:

- One disbursement for first year student
- Second disbursement for second year student

- Preference given to:
- Canadian Citizen
- Resident of Alberta for 5 years
- Must be a Northwest Campus student
- Enrolled in: Animal Health Tech, Equine-Horsemanship, Equine-Horse Training, Horticulture Technician, Turfgrass Equipment Tech, or Turfgrass Management programs
- Parents involved in Ag production
- Student must have a farming background and be thinking of
returning to farming when completed school

- 2 disbursements of $500 per year
- Second year Ag program student
- Application available: beginning of January
- Refer to College Awards Booklet
- Through student awards/ financial-aid department
- Deadline for application: end of January
- Preference given to:
- Canadian Citizen
- Resident of Alberta for 5 years
- Must be a Lakeland College student
- Must be enrolled in Ag Science program
- Parents must be involved in Ag production
- Student must have a farming background and be thinking of
returning to farming when completed school
Lethbridge Community

- One disbursement for a second year LCC student
- Second disbursement for student completing Ag Tech program

- Must be an Olds College student
- Must be enrolled in Ag Business or Ag Production programs

University of Alberta – Scholarship — Phone:

of Agriculture

- Preference given to:
- Students entering 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year
- Need to be in Bachelor of Science in Ag/Food Business Management degree program.
- Recipients chosen based on academic standing
- Recipient selected by Faculty of Agriculture and verified
by Student Awards Office
4-H Scholarships — Phone:

- 4-H Foundation or Alberta Agriculture website

- Preference given to:
- A Canadian citizen and Alberta resident for at least 5 years
- A 4-H member with at least 2 years experience (prior to application)
Available for students attending any Alberta university or college offering
degree transfer credits in their chosen field of study. Applications
are available through 4-H Foundation.
