ATB presents Carstairs 4-H club members with team jackets

Carstairs, Alberta ... Alberta Treasury Branches (ATB) is awarding four local 4-H members with team jackets for placing in the top twenty amongst 90 competitors in the ATB Provincial 4-H Judging Competition held at Olds, Alberta in mid-August.

The competition's top 20 finishers form the Alberta 4-H team who will now compete in judging competitions in Canada and the United States. ATB will present team jackets to each of the 4-H members in their home community.

"ATB has a long history of involvement in the 4-H program and we are proud to be this year's exclusive sponsor," says Brian Countryman, Community Relations Manager. "We felt team jackets would promote a sense of pride amongst the team when they travel to other provinces and U.S. to compete in advanced competitions."

Local 4-H members receiving team jackets include Marla Foat, Scott Richmond, Robyn Mader and Jill Stevens, all residents of the Carstairs community.

ATB is committed to the partnership with Alberta 4-H and supports members through scholarship programs, specialized loans, and an 'Award of Excellence Program' that recognizes member achievements throughout the province.
