| News Release: October 29, 1999 Alberta Treasury Branches Moves to a New Location in Lacombe (Lacombe) . Alberta Treasury Branches (ATB) will open its doors at its new Lacombe branch on Monday, November 1, 1999. The branch is re-locating four blocks east from its previous downtown location to 4720 - 51 Avenue. Sixty years ago, ATB first began serving the community of Lacombe. "We are committed to continue serving Lacombe residents and remaining a steadfast partner in the community," says Gary IsRalson, Branch Manager. "The community is growing and changing, and so are we. Our priority is to meet our customers' evolving needs and make access to financial services easier and even more convenient." With over 4800 square feet of bright open floor space, the branch is designed with the customer in mind. New technology, accessible parking, a comfortable atmosphere with a personalized touch are what customers can expect. Inside, the back wall of the branch features a breath-taking 30-foot mural of the historical "flat iron" building, a well-known landmark in Lacombe. With an impressive 3-D effect, the mural pays tribute to the community and commemorates the history ATB has shared with Lacombe residents. The ATB Lacombe branch will be open from 9:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 9:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. on Friday. A drive-thru automated banking machine (ABM) is available to customers 24-hours-a-day. ATB, an Alberta-based financial institution, was established in 1938, with an investment of $200,000 from the provincial government. Today, ATB has 3000 dedicated employees serving 238 communities through a network of 148 branches, 129 agencies and 202 ABMs. Deposits are guaranteed 100% by the Crown in right of Alberta.
