What life learnings do you bring to your role as a Business Banking Advisor?
I grew up in a small town and my in-laws are grain and cattle farmers, so I have a lot of insight into the struggles small businesses go through, especially in small towns, to make ends meet and compete with bigger chains. I empathize with them, as I think it can be hard to prove yourself when people are just looking at the numbers over the passion, hard work and commitment.
What are you doing when you’re not at ATB?
When I am not at ATB, I spend my time with my fiancé, my beautiful daughter and our boxer, Chloe. We love to spend as much time as we can outside on our acreage, enjoying nature. We are very much homebodies and love developing new areas of our property.
I am an avid fisher and absolutely love to ice fish. It’s a great way to relax and not think of anything other than gigging just right to appeal to the fish. I also enjoy learning to play my ukulele.
Favourite place in Alberta?
Home, no matter where it in Alberta it may be!
Favorite place to travel to?
My in-laws’ family cabin in the Kootenays in BC is my paradise. I love to spend as much time there as possible. Let’s be honest though—Mexico in winter is amazing as well.
