Whether your group is a large, provincial association, or a smaller local group, the Community Spirit Account has the built-in flexibility to meet your needs. To save you money, it features no monthly fees — plus the first 15 debit/credit transactions each month are free. Your deposits are put to work for you as well: interest is paid monthly based upon your group's average (not minimum) monthly balance. When you said that it wasn't fair that interest was paid at the same (low) rate for large and small deposits, we heard you. We pay interest based upon your deposit tiers: an initial rate for that part of your deposit in the first tier, a higher rate for that part in the next tier, and so on. The larger your deposit, the higher your interest rate. Automatically.
