Government Guaranteed Loans

In addition to our regular Agri-Industry loan programs, ATB Financial also offers loans under the Alberta Farm Development Loan (ADFL) program.

Program will be discontinued as of March 31, 2007 and new loans no longer offered as of this date. Existing loans will continue as agreed under contract guidelines. Please contact your local branch for further details.

ADFL Loans:

• Can be used for purchasing farmland, assisting with operating capital, constructing buildings, making land improvements, purchasing or repairing machinery, buying livestock or quota, and under special circumstances, for consolidating other debt.
• Both fixed and variable interest rates are available, all with flexible payment schedules.
• Have your financing in place before you make a purchase with Pre-approved Loans.
• Depending on the purpose and the security, we can extend amortization up to 15 years.
