Term Deposit Certificates
 A
safe, versatile, redeemable investment vehicle for investors who wish
to earn a guaranteed rate of interest over a fixed period of time.
Features:
- Guaranteed interest
rate for length of term
- Minimum investment
starts at only $500 for terms of 1 year or longer
- Interest is determined
by the frequency of interest payments and the term of the certificate
- Interest is paid
either monthly, quarterly, semi-annually, or annual, and at maturity,
depending upon the amount, length of the term, and method of payment.
Interest is payable at maturity only for terms of less than one year.
- Interest rates
are influenced by the Canadian Prime Lending Rate.

Deposits are fully redeemable (some restrictions apply,
see below).

can invest in Term Deposits at anytime.
Options:
- Terms available
from 30 days to 5 years and 5 days
- Over-night rates
are available.
- Bonus rates available
forPriority Plan members (some restictions apply) or amounts over
$100,000.
Redemption Restrictions:
- Certificates can
only be redeemed by the registered depositor or registered assignee.
- Certificates with
a term of one year or longer may be redeemed at any time following
30 days from the date of deposit, except 30 days notice may be required.
- Certificates with
a term of one year or less may be redeemed at any time, except 10
days notice may be required.
- Certificates redeemed
in under 30 days are not eligible for interest.
- Certificates prematurely
redeemed will be subject to a reduced rate of interest.
