Natural gas down 9 cents

Posted on: February 14, 2017

NYMEX natural gas traded in a range of $0.073 and settled the day at $2.944/MMBtu, losing 9 cents. Sustained warm weather throughout several key areas in the US have continued to keep pressure on the March contract, pushing pricing to lows we have not seen since November. The warm weather is expected to continue over the next 10 days, with cooler trends moving in though the extended forecast.

Expectations for the EIA storage figure release are for a draw between 125-133-Bcf.
