Natural Gas gains 6 cents

Posted on: June 07, 2017

Things heated up a bit for NG after such a dramatic slide in prices over the last week. Prompt futures contracts went back in the $3.00 range settling at $3.04 for the day while the Great Lakes region, Midwest and East expect higher than average temperatures. The injection for this Thursday will likely be 3- digits (102-Bcf), relative to the 5 year average of 94-Bcf. NG gains could have been partially due to the covering of short positions entered into during the price downslide.
