Natural Gas gains 12 cents

Posted on: June 16, 2017

Natural gas soared higher to settle at $3.06 after inventories rose by 78-Bcf, smaller than the 90-Bcf forecast. Another supportive element was the weather report from MDA weather service where we could experience record heat across the West (June 20-24) driving cooling demand. Next week’s EIA stockpiles report has a “whisper number” of 60 to 70-Bcf largely driven by the heat wave experienced in the East that ended this week.
