Posted on: August 17, 2017

NYMEX natural gas fell 4.5 cents on Wednesday after trading in a tight range to close at $2.89/MMBtu. Weather fundamentals have remained consistent, but the prompt month is trading down a bit in anticipation of the inventory numbers. The market is looking for a build of around 49-Bcf for the inventory figure today. This compares to the build of 23-Bcf for this time last year.
