Crude rallies $1.10

WTI continues its climb higher to close the week at $55.64 with the US rig count falling by 8 to 729 according to Baker Hughes. There was 1 rig added to the Permian Basin region. US production increased by 46k/bpd to 9.55m/bpd. The spread on the January Brent-WTI narrowed with the abrupt increase in US exports.

Overall, it was a fairly low volume trading day to close off last Friday.
