E-statements

​Switch to e-statements and view, save and print your statements anytime, anywhere.

​​No more sorting, filing and shredding. Opt for ATB e-statements and receive an email notification whenever a new account, ATB Investor Services or MasterCard® statement is posted.


What are e-statements?

E-statements are an environmentally-friendly alternative to printed paper statements you receive in the mail. E-statements allow you to view and download your account or MasterCard statements in ATB Online, ATB Online Business or ATB Investor Connect.

When you opt for e-statements, you can choose to receive an email notification whenever a new statement is posted. You can turn your paper statements back on any time.


How do I switch to e-statements?

ATB Personal Accounts

  1. Log in to ATB Online.
  2. Within the Accounts tab, click on E-statements.
  3. Click on the Edit Statement Preferences button.
  4. In the Statement Delivery column, select E-statements only from the drop-down menu for any available account(s) or MasterCard®(s).
  5. If you’re updating MasterCard® statement preferences, read the Electronic Delivery Consent Agreement (EDCA) and check the box to agree.
  6. Click the Save Changes button

If you want to receive paper statements again in the future, simply select Paper & e-statements from the drop-down menu and click the Save Changes button. If you have questions, give us a call at 1-866-282-4932.


ATB Business Accounts

Your company’s e-statement preferences are managed by your ATB Online Business Administrator.

  1. As the Administrator, log in to ATB Online Business.
  2. Click on the E-statements link under the Accounts tab, or go to Manage E-statement Preferences under the Client Services tab.
  3. Select the account or e-statement you want to change the settings for.
  4. Choose E-statements only to turn-off paper (ie, mailed statements).
  5. Check the Notifications box and enter an email address to receive email notifications. (Note: Users can register their own email address to receive email notifications.)
  6. Click the Save Changes button.

If you want to receive paper statements again in the future, simply select Paper & e-statements from the drop-down menu and click the Save Changes button. If you have questions, give us a call at 1-888-655-5152.


ATB Investor Connect

  1. Visit www.atbinvestorconnect.com and use your email and chosen password to login.
  2. For new users, enter your email address follow the necessary steps to create an account. Have the last three digits of your SIN and an ATB Securities Inc. account number on hand.
  3. If registering for the first time you will be prompted to choose your method of delivery for various documents.
  4. For returning users, click “Communication Preferences” under the gear icon and make your changes.

Will I continue to receive my paper statements after I switch to e-statements?

No. By selecting “E-statements only”, you will view your statements in ATB Online or ATB Online Business by clicking the E-statements link. You can switch back to paper statements anytime by visiting the Edit Statement Preferences section.

How will I know when my e-statement is ready for viewing?

You can sign up for notification emails that will let you know when your statement is ready for viewing. Click the Edit Statement Preferences button at the top of the E-statements page.

Why do I need a notification email for my MasterCard® e-statement?

We need to make sure that you know your statement is ready, so you don’t have to worry about missing a payment

Do I need special software to view my e-statements?

E-statements are in PDF format, so you will need Adobe Reader to view them. Adobe Reader is standard software on all operating systems and browsers, so you should be able to view them on any computer or smartphone.

Can I print or save my e-statements?

Yes. E-statements are posted in PDF format. After opening your e-statement, just click on the save or print buttons.

Is my information secure with e-statements?

Absolutely. Your e-statements are subject to the same rigorous security standards as the rest of your ATB banking information.

How long are my e-statements available for?

E-statements are available in ATB Online and ATB Online Business from September 2011 (our system upgrade) onwards, and will be available for up to seven years. If you’d like to keep your statements for longer, please save them to a secure drive on your computer or print them and keep them safe.

How do I update my e-statement notification email address?

For personal banking customers, log into ATB Online, click the E-statements link within the Accounts tab, and then click the Edit Statement Preferences button. Your email address will be listed at the top of the page. Click the edit link and type in your new email address. If you need help, give us a call at 1-866-282-4932. For business clients, log into ATB Online Business and follow the same instructions above. Or you can update your preferences through the Client Services tab (Manage Statement Preferences link). If you need help, talk to your account admin or call 1-888-655-5152.
