    The maximum lifetime RESP contribution limit per child is $50,000.
    It can be hard to keep track of contributions, especially if there is more than one RESP for a child—for example, if two sets of grandparents contribute to RESPs on behalf of a grandchild. That's why you should consult with the parent(s) before you set up an RESP for a child you care about.
