Getting Started

  • What is ATB TrackIt?

    ATB TrackIt is a free, easy-to-use personal financial management tool available to ATB Online banking customers.

    ATB TrackIt helps you budget and manage your finances by enabling you to import your account information from multiple financial institutions so that you can keep track of your account balances and transactions all in one place.

  • Who can use or access ATB TrackIt?

    ATB TrackIt is available to ATB Online banking customers.

  • How much does it cost to use ATB TrackIt?

    ATB TrackIt is free and available to ATB Online banking customers.

    NOTE: Although you can use ATB TrackIt for free, you should review the terms and conditions of your account at ATB Financial and your other financial institutions for information about account and transaction fees. Also, be aware that wireless messaging, data and roaming charges may apply if you access ATB TrackIt on your mobile device.

  • How do I start using ATB TrackIt?

    ATB TrackIt is included as part of ATB Online banking. If you have not enrolled in ATB Online banking yet, you will need to do so. Once you are enrolled, simply log in and you can start to use ATB TrackIt to manage your finances.

    NOTE: If you enrolled in ATB Online banking prior to December 8, 2014 you will be required to review and accept the terms and conditions of use for ATB TrackIt before you can use it.

    TIP: If you need help logging in to ATB Online or setting up your ATB Online account, please contact the Customer Care Centre at 1-866-282-4932.

  • Why are you asking for my email address?

    ATB TrackIt will use your email address to send alerts around unusual spending, upcoming bills, to warn you if you are getting close to a budget. You will be able to manage which alerts you receive and getting your email address sets us up for that.

  • Where do I update my email address in ATB TrackIt?

    To update your email address, log into your ATB Online account and use the Self-Service tab.

  • What browsers support ATB TrackIt?

    You’re good to go with Internet Explorer, Safari, Firefox, Chrome, or Opera.

    NOTE: If you are using Internet Explorer 8 or below you will not be able to take advantage of the full TrackIt experience. We recommend that you update your browser to the latest version of Internet Explorer. You can do that here.

  • Can I use ATB TrackIt at any time?

    ATB TrackIt has the same 24/7/365 availability as ATB Online.

  • Is ATB TrackIt available in multiple languages?

    No, ATB TrackIt is only available in English.

  • Is my financial information safe in ATB TrackIt?

    Yes. We use industry-leading encryption technology to protect your data. ATB Financial safeguards your privacy and security as our highest priority.

  • Is information from my accounts and transactions in ATB TrackIt stored on my mobile device?

    No personal information (customer data) is stored on your mobile device.

  • What if my mobile device is lost or stolen?

    If your mobile device is lost or stolen, inform your carrier as soon as possible, and log in to your ATB Online account to disconnect your lost or stolen device.

  • Do I need to remember another user ID and password?

    No. ATB TrackIt is available as part of ATB Online so your user ID and password for ATB Online is all you need.

  • What if I don’t remember my user name or password for my ATB Online account?

    If you forget your ATB Online user name or password, or if you are locked out of your ATB Online account, please call the Customer Care Centre at 1-866-282-4932 to reset your information.

Accounts & Transactions

  • Which of my accounts can I view in ATB TrackIt?

    ATB TrackIt lets you view your ATB deposit accounts, investments (registered and non-registered), loans and credit card products. Clients of ATB Investor Services can also add their new ATB Investor Connect profile to view investment accounts. Once you have imported information from your accounts at other financial institutions, you will also see these accounts in ATB TrackIt.

  • Can I still see my ATB accounts the way I used to in ATB Online?

    Yes. Both the Account Summary and Account Activity pages in ATB Online are still available for you to use. To view these pages the way you used to, simply select the Classic View option displayed to the right of the Account Summary or Account Activity title on each of those pages.

  • When will I need to create a manual account?

    You need to create a manual account if either of the following conditions apply:

    • Your other financial institution is not supported, meaning a connection is not available to import your account data. If you cannot find your financial institution using the search field of the Manage Institutions window in ATB TrackIt, then your institution is not supported at this time.
    • You have other financial institution accounts that you cannot access online.

    NOTE: After you add an account manually, you need to periodically edit the account to update the balance because ATB TrackIt cannot automatically update manual accounts.   • Can I add an account to ATB TrackIt if the account is not supported for automatic download?

    Yes. You need to create a manual account to do so. See the Adding an Account section of the ATB TrackIt user guide (available in RELATED TASKS AND LINKS – Help with this Page) to learn how to add manual accounts.

  • How far back will ATB TrackIt import my data from ATB and other financial institutions?

    ATB TrackIt will import 90 days of transaction history from ATB, your primary financial institution. The amount of data that will be imported from other financial institutions depends on the institution.

  • How far back does ATB TrackIt save my transaction and budget history?

    ATB TrackIt saves your transaction and budget history as long as you retain your account with ATB.

  • Will ATB TrackIt show me my credit score?

    No.

  • Can I set up ATB TrackIt to automatically transfer funds from one account to another?

    No. ATB TrackIt is a tool that lets you view information about your accounts and transactions. It does not allow you to perform transactions.

  • How do I use ATB TrackIt to create budgets?

    Use the Budgets tool, which presents a targeted display of your spending and progress towards meeting your overall budget each month. See the Budgets Tool section of the ATB TrackIt user guide (available in RELATED TASKS AND LINKS – Help with this Page) to learn how to create budgets.

  • Why should I use the Budgets tool?

    The Budgets tool helps you track and control your spending in select budget categories. You can use budgets to track all your household expenses, or specific categories that you want to monitor more closely. Budgets are useful for setting and working toward financial goals, or simply being more aware of your spending habits.
