What life learnings do you bring to your role as a Business Banking Advisor?
I understand what an entrepreneur goes through, as I used to have my own business. I think it can be quite similar to baking (which I love to do), as it is so tempting to just throw everything into the bowl and hope for the best. But when you know the measurements and cooking time, it always turns out so much better. I can help business owners figure out measurements and cooking time for their business, so they are starting out with the best possible chance of success.
What are you doing when you’re not at ATB?
I love spending time with my three kids. I try to instill values that set them up for success in life with whatever they want to do. For example, every summer, for the past three years, my oldest son has helped me make ten loaves of banana bread and a pitcher of lemonade, and then he sits on the corner and sells it. He keeps all of the money he earns. In the process, he learns that money doesn’t grow on trees, and if he works hard, he will get rewarded.
