What life learnings do you bring to your role as a Business Banking Advisor?
I have worked at ATB for nine years, previously as a Manager of Entrepreneurship before moving to the Business Banking Centre. That’s given me extensive knowledge of the banking systems within ATB, especially cash management products and business lending processes and products.
What do you do when you’re not at ATB?
I worked for a home builder before coming to ATB and I was in charge of scheduling trades and helping clients pick the finishes for their home. I haven’t lost the home design bug and I’m currently renovating my home. We joke that my partner holds things in place while I do the work! So far I have built three homes and renovated several others. I think this has taught me a lot about time management and flexibility as renovations never go exactly as planned—similar to business interactions.
Favourite place in Alberta?
Any golf course.
What would we find you doing on the weekend?
Doing my renos and building things like my outdoor oasis (which is still a work in progress).
