What life learnings do you bring to your role as a Business Banking Advisor?
My background is super diverse. In university, I initially double-majored in criminology and sociology, but I transferred to a bachelor of commerce program, majoring in human resources with a minor in marketing. Working in human resources has given me a people-first outlook, meaning that I’ll treat you like a person not a number.
What are you doing when you’re not at ATB?
I love learning new skills, especially sewing, knitting, cooking and other crafty things. I love being able to take something like a piece of fabric or a jumble of ingredients and make it into something decorative, wearable or tasty. Baking has become my new obsession and it’s made me pretty popular in the office. (And if you become my client, I might just bake you something too!)
Favourite place in Alberta?
Definitely Calgary. I moved here from Toronto almost a year ago but I don’t hesitate to call this home. It’s the perfect blend of city with a small town feel.
