Introducing Justin Snith & Tristan Walker, Team ATB Luge athletes

Tristan Walker and Justin Snith, both of Calgary, became a doubles luge team six years ago when both sliders were just 16. They finished 15th in their first Winter Games in 2010 despite being the youngest athletes in the field. Now both 22, they've since become one of the top sliding duos in the world.

Being best of friends helps when you train, travel and compete together as much as these two.

"There are some teams who don't get along on or off the track," says Snith. "It's fireworks all the time with those guys. It makes it more of a struggle to travel eight, nine weeks at a time. Having one of your good friends there, it's not a big issue."

In January, Walker and Snith made Canadian luge history by winning a World Cup bronze medal in Germany, Canada's first-ever medal in doubles competition. They came achingly close to an Olympic medal in Sochi, finishing fourth.
