Pinkest little place in the west

They're heroes of the great west. They're riding into town. And they're doing it all in pink.

The ATB team in Viking celebrates Wild Pink Yonder 2012.

Join us as we saddle up for the Wild Pink Yonder—a trail ride of 30 cowboys and girls travelling to over 20 rural Alberta towns on horseback. The ride takes place over three weeks each August to raise awareness and funds for breast cancer. The towns along the route also raise funds for the cause and "paint the town pink" to compete for the title of Pinkest Little Town in the West. Barbecues, dances, concerts, and other celebrations welcome the riders at each stop.

Nine ATB Financial branches in northern Alberta are participating in eight towns along the route by decorating the branch (and in some cases, themselves) in pink. Some are also taking part in town festivities and raising additional funds for breast cancer. From pink cupcakes in Fahler, to raffles and pink horseshoes in other branches across Peace Country, ATB is thinking pink.

Last year, nine southern Alberta branches raised almost $8,000, with all funds going to the Alberta Cancer Foundation. This is the second year ATB Financial has donated to Wild Pink Yonder as part of our corporate giving efforts to support health and wellbeing in Alberta.

So visit us in a town near you and help us cheer on the riders as we support Wild Pink Yonder:
