Jann Arden fans will delight in an upcoming opportunity to see a live interview and recording session with the Alberta musician. And they’ll be part of Alberta music history too.

ATB Financial invites you to join Holger Petersen for an intimate interview with Jann Arden to explore her music, career, and the importance of story. Jann will also be performing a short set, which will be recorded live and featured in the all-Albertan ATB Storytellers exhibit in the new National Music Centre (NMC) next year.

Event details:
Wednesday, October 28 | 7–8pm
Boyce Theatre – 410 Olympic Way SE, Calgary
Tickets $20 at

Homegrown singer and song-writer Jann Arden has roots in Calgary and though her success could easily land her anywhere in the world, she continues to make Alberta her home.

“As a homegrown financial institution, we want to celebrate the people and stories that shape music in our province,” says Sandra Huculak, Managing Director of Corporate Social Responsibility & Community Investment at ATB.

“Jann is a Canadian music icon, and we are thrilled that she is lending her name to this made-in-Alberta showcase.”

As part of the partnership with ATB, NMC will be creating the ATB Storytellers exhibit as well as other Alberta initiatives like a travelling program that collects stories from grade school students across Alberta, and an oral histories project.

Tickets from this event will go directly to support the NMC's Metis Music Roadcase. This resource provides Alberta educators with lesson plans encompassing art, music and social studies that offer a window into Metis history and culture.

The new NMC building is set to open its doors in spring of 2016.
