Untapped Alberta is taking off across our music-loving province. The second stop for the concert series—at the Pawn Shop in Edmonton on Saturday, March 31—is sure to build off of the enthusiasm and excitement from the previous night in Lloydminster. The Saturday night show features Edmonton’s Tupelo Honey and Mars & Venus, as well as The Lions from Calgary.

Tupelo Honey hopes to capture the hearts and minds of their fans and take them somewhere special. They just released a new album and with so much excitement behind the new material, Tupelo Honey cannot wait to bring their unique and exciting brand of modern rock to the stage and to the ears of music fans everywhere. Bassist Steve Vincent says, “Every one of us feels that we’ve never written, played or sounded better as a band. This is definitely our best work to date and we are so excited to share it.” Get a feel for their music on their website

Mars & Venus are five best friends playing an eclectic mix of rock, alternative, and post-punk music, and they are poised to turn some heads and take the world by storm. Their mix of sweeping melodies, soaring vocals, and intense energy proves they are a group committed to moving people through their music. Their new song “Shades of White” can be heard on their website

The Lions are a real rock and roll band. Chris, Liz, and Justin show up to play a show, have a laugh, and greet the audience! If you grew up loving British music and wonder what it would sound like with a seven-string guitar, you’ve found The Lions. The Lions have just released their new full length album which is their best yet. Skope Magazine says, “The Lions are a REAL rock band that play REAL rock ‘n’ roll music with no fancy gimmicks.” Find out more at
