Natural gas falls 14 cents

Posted on: May 03, 2016

Gas saw a reversal of Friday's gains on Monday, with NYMEX losing 14 cents at the front to settle at $2.04. The back of the curve also gave back some of its recent gains as weather forecasts came in milder. AECO 7A for May settled at 1.0412 CAD/gj yesterday, not a good number if you are on the production side of the market.

The good news is there is still an opportunity to hedge the balance of Cal 16 significantly higher than that.
