Natural gas falls 2.3 cents

The natural gas contract fell again for the fourth consecutive day on Thursday. After trading in a range of $0.115, natural gas for December fell 2.3 cents, closing the day off at $2.769. The EIA released a storage figure slightly lower than the market was expecting, with an injection of 54-Bcf reported as opposed to the 56-Bcf estimate. This puts the total storage figure at 3.963-Tcf, 48-Bcf higher than last year.

Today we see support around $2.75 and resistance around $2.95.
