Natural gas up 4.9 cents

Posted on: November 08, 2016

Natural gas gained a bit of ground on Monday after consecutive days of losses. The December contract traded in a range of $0.094 and settled the day at $2.816; a 4.9 cent gain. The warm temperatures are expected to continue over the short term which will likely continue to pressure prices downward. After making some positive ground yesterday, natural gas has been in a freefall this morning and is currently down 12.6 cents since previous close.

Today we see support around $2.65 and resistance around $2.90.
