Natural gas falls 9.2 cents

NYMEX natural gas traded in a range of $0.116 on Friday and settled at $3.034/MMBtu, losing 9.2 cents. Weather models are showing the warmth is likely to stay until the end of Feb keeping the bearish tone in the short term with the reduction in demand. The prompt month broke through the $3.00 support over the weekend.

Baker Hughes has reported that natural gas rigs rose by 4 in the US last week and now total 149.
