Natural gas falls 7 cents

Posted on: March 24, 2016

Gas took it on the chin at the front of the curve on Wednesday, settling 7 cents lower at $1.79. After a brief push toward $2 over the past couple of weeks gas has quickly retreated, trading back around $1.80. One positive for the bulls was the selling was generally limited to the front of the curve yesterday.

This morning participants are anticipating an injection of around 20 bcf, which means there will be roughly 1 tcf more gas in storage heading into this summer compared to last.
