Natural gas gains 7.3 cents

NYMEX natural gas traded in a range of $0.101 on Thursday and settled at $2.974/MMBtu, gaining 7.3 cents. Prices continued to rally with the EIA storage figure report stating that working gas stocks fell by 68-Bcf for the week ending March 3. Gas in storage now totals 2,295-Bcf, which is 192-Bcf less than this time last year and 363-Bcf higher than the 5 year average.

Weather trends are expected to remain cool in much of the Mid-West and Northeast US over the 10 days.
