Natural Gas gains 4 cents

Posted on: April 20, 2017

From a technical standpoint there was support at $3.12 with $3.20 resistance. Fundamentally, the projection for today’s EIA storage estimates are for a 50-Bcf build. The 5 day weather forecast along the US East Coast is notably above average with another potential heating round during April 29-May 3rd. If these forecasts hold the increased demand for natural gas would prove bullish for prices.

NYMEX NG prompt futures gained 4 cents to settle at $3.19 for the day.
