Natural Gas down 6 cents

Posted on: May 02, 2017

Not much activity in the markets today with a May 1st holiday. NYMEX NG futures lost 6 cents to settle at $3.22 for the day amid warmer temperatures experienced in the Southwest and cooler than average in Central US. There is a record level June/July contango in the gasoline futures curve which is a bearish sign for prices given the time of year and demand expectations.
