Natural gas up by 0.1 cents

NYMEX natural gas moved up by a modest 0.1 cents on Thursday. The prompt month moved in a range of $0.107 before settling the day at $2.894/MMBtu. Weather trends continue to remain at the forefront, with the cooler patterns expected to continue moving through the summer. The EIA has reported an injection of 61-Bcf, slightly higher than the market expected consensus of 56-Bcf. Total working gas storage has hit 2,770-Bcf, 207-Bcf higher than the five year average.
