Inventory injection levels were at 28-Bcf and came in slightly lower than the prior 35-Bcf estimate, but wasn't enough to lead to a gain with NG prompt futures falling 2 cents lower to settle at $3.04. EIA expects 3,940-Bcf inventories by the end of October 2017. Natural gas rig count fell by 2 to 187. Hotter weather forecasts continue to persist for the majority of the US giving rise to increased cooling demand. NG prompt futures settled at $3.04.
