Natural gas losses 2 cents

Posted on: October 25, 2017

Prompt NG traded in a tight range and ultimately settled 2 cents lower to $2.97, easing off of Monday's 8 cent rally. There are below normal temperatures in the Central U.S Oct 29-Nov 2nd(Commodity Weather Group) and a relatively sudden shift that could stimulate heating demand. Both total stockpiles and the weekly estimate are coming in below seasonal average with the official EIA numbers on their way Thursday.

Demand from Beijing may prove accelerating to prices as they make the environmentally savvy switch from coal heating to natural gas.
