Crude falls $1

Posted on: April 22, 2016

WTI pulled back a bit on Thursday, with the June future settling a dollar lower at $43.18. After the recent rally in WTI some headwinds from profit taking were not unexpected as participants closed out some positions. Rumors of Russian production increases and an end to the workers strike in Kuwait did not help matters. Not much movement in WCS yesterday with the front sitting around -14.

This morning WTI is rebounding in early trading.
