Jon Horsman
Senior Executive Vice President, Business, ATB 
and CEO, ATB Capital Markets

Jon Horsman is responsible for the strategy, direction and leadership of ATB Financial’s presence in business markets, and oversees the management and financial performance of ATB Capital Markets—a wholly owned subsidiary that provides capital market solutions for institutional and corporate clients.

He believes in building strong relationships with markets by responding to client needs and supporting their success by providing tailored and comprehensive financial service solutions.

Jon began his banking career with ATB in 2003 and has held increasingly senior roles. As Co-Head of Corporate Financial Services (CFS), he led the integration of specialized financial service professionals. As Chairman and CEO of AltaCorp Capital, he led the growth of the firm’s geographic and market coverage, broadening access to capital for clients in high-potential industries like energy, life sciences and diversified industries.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy (Honours) from Gonzaga University, and an MBA from the Alberta School of Business at the University of Alberta.
