Camille Weleschuk is eternally optimistic and purpose-driven. As leader of the Office of the CEO, she builds strong relationships within ATB that turn strategy into action. As ATB’s lead for government relations, she fosters a strong partnership with the Government of Alberta to position ATB as a catalyst for economic growth in the province.
Camille began her career in newsrooms across Alberta, taking complex information and translating it into compelling stories. She later advised senior management and elected officials as a member of the Alberta Public Affairs Bureau, serving in the Emergency Operations Centre for the 2011 Slave Lake wildfire response and the 2013 High River flood response.
In her time at ATB, Camille has led the corporate communications and strategic coordination and economics teams and served as the organization’s first-ever Managing Director of Customer Obsession.
Camille holds an MBA, is a certified sustainability (ESG) practitioner and is an official member of Forbes Communications Council. She served as the 2020 ATB Executive Sponsor for the United Way Campaign and was a member of the 2019 SingularityU Canada Summit Advisory Board. Camille is a two-time recipient of the Premier of Alberta’s Award of Excellence (2010 and 2011) and was a 2008 Gold Ribbon Award Finalist with the Canadian Association of Broadcasters.
