Updates to the ATB Personal Terms and Conditions
Find out what will change on March 9, 2026.
On March 9, 2026 we will be updating the Terms and Conditions for ATB Personal.
This update will provide more information and clarity for future notifications, alerts and the upcoming credit offers experience.
The changes include:
- Digital Data Sharing Services: This section (G) will be updated to cover Other Digital Sharing Platforms. It outlines how transaction and balance information from non-ATB accounts can be viewed within ATB Personal and the licensing required to provide this service.
- Credit Score Experience: This is a new section (Section M) that introduces the ability for users to monitor their FICO® Scores through ATB Personal for educational purposes without impacting their credit rating.
- Card Management Features: This section (Section L) will be expanded to include updated features for managing credit cards, like viewing digital cards and pushing card tokens to mobile wallets. It also clarifies that only primary account holders can manage debit card settings.
- Privacy and Analytics: The Privacy section (Section V) will be updated to include specific details regarding the use of third-party web analytical tools to measure usage patterns and improve digital services.
- Definitions and Settlement Rules: The Definitions section (Section X) will be expanded to include formal definitions for "Applicable Laws" and "Settlement Rules," providing greater legal clarity across all transfer services.
- Security and Structural Reordering: To accommodate new features, several sections were reordered (for example, Security was moved to Section N). These sections will also be refined to better define digital security obligations.
The list above summarizes the substantial changes to the ATB Personal Terms and Conditions, but reviewing the document in full is never a bad idea.
