How to make or cancel scheduled money transfers on ATB Personal
Learn how to make or cancel scheduled transfers between your accounts on the ATB Personal banking website.
Automate your savings and watch your money grow without having to think about it. Setting up a recurring money transfer is an easy way to regularly send a set amount of money between your ATB deposit accounts. If you’re making a scheduled money transfer to a savings or investment account, that’s also called a pre-authorized contribution.
How to make a one-time scheduled transfer
To make a recurring transfer or pre-authorized contribution:
- Log in to ATB Personal.
- From the Overview screen, click Move Money in the primary navigation.
- Or you can click the Transfer quick link under any deposit account.
- From the Move Money menu, click Account transfers.
- On the Account transfers screen, in the Recurring transfer tab, select the account you want to make the transfer From.
- Select the account you want to transfer money To.
- Enter the Amount you want to transfer.
- Select the transfer Frequency.
- Indicate the Starting date by clicking the date shown. It will launch a calendar view where you can pick your preferred start date.
- Decide when your recurring transfer will end:
a. If Never, transfers will continue to be made automatically until you stop them.
b. If End date, pick when you want the final transfer to be made from the calendar view. The resulting number of transfers will show up.
c. If Number of transfers, enter the number of desired transfers. The resulting end date will show up. - Click Next.
- Review and verify the transfer details.
- Click Send to complete the transfer.
- You’re all done!
To cancel a previously scheduled transfer:
- From the Overview screen, click Move Money in the primary navigation.
- From the Move Money menu, click Account transfers.
- On the Account transfers screen, in the Scheduled transfers tab, click on the transfer you’re looking to change.
- On the Scheduled transfer details screen, click Cancel scheduled transfer.
- Review and click Confirm to complete the cancellation..
- You’re all done!
