Wondering what portion of the amount of a cheque you’ve deposited you’ll have immediate access to and how much will be kept on (temporary) hold? Find your cheque release limit quickly and easily to gain peace of mind. Release limits on your cheques help keep your accounts safe.

1. Log in to ATB Personal.
2. From the Overview screen, click More in the primary navigation.
   
   1. Or you can click the three dots to the right of the quick links on any deposit account details screen and click Cheque limits.
3. From the More menu, click Account services.
4. In the Account services menu on the left, click Cheque limits.
5. On the Cheque limits screen, (if not already selected) select the Account you want to view limits for.
6. Review your Cheque release limit to see the amount of Instantly available funds you would have access to on deposit.
7. You’re all done!
