Shawn brings more than 30 years of experience in commercial and real estate banking, M&A and corporate finance to his role as Managing Director, Diversified Industries and Energy Services. 

In his time with ATB, Shawn has been on teams responsible for expanding and launching lending programs and was key in developing new client opportunities in the Edmonton market for ATB’s Business & Agriculture team. With the majority of his experience being in the Edmonton area, he has a great network he can turn to for collaboration. That local focus is one of the things he values about ATB. All decisions are made in Alberta, and there’s a community nuance the ATB team inherently “gets,” making it faster to understand and support clients’ unique situations.

Shawn is a father of 3 grown children and finds time to keep active in various sports and is eagerly awaiting the time when his 2 grandchildren will be involved in activities of their own.
