Who does ATB sponsor when it comes to Arts & Culture? This page is filled with some of our favourite examples from across the province. If you’re looking to apply for an Arts & Culture sponsorship, the first step is to read the guidelines.
Calgary Folk Music Festival
Each year over 50,000 people make their way to Prince’s Island in Calgary to hear music from home and abroad. In 2019, Calgary Folk Fest celebrated its 40th anniversary. ATB has proudly been the presenting sponsor since 2018.
Throughout the year, ATB looks for ways to support Alberta’s vibrant music scene by partnering with Folk Fest on pop-up concerts, surprise and delight moments, and more.
Each February, we also bring a little warmth to the long, dark winter by supporting Folk Fest’s Block Heater Festival held at the National Music Centre and other venues around Calgary.
Calgary International Film Festival
Over 35,000 people attend CIFF each year, getting a sneak peak of some of the best movies the world has to offer, including many filmed here in Alberta! We’ve proudly been the presenting sponsor since 2015. The festival showcases over 200 features from dozens of countries, truly bringing the world to Alberta—and showcasing Alberta to the world.
Edmonton International Fringe Theatre Festival
Edmonton Fringe is the jewel in the crown of Edmonton’s busy festival summer, attracting hundreds of thousands of people to Old Strathcona. It is North America’s largest Fringe festival and ATB has proudly been the presenting sponsor since 2013. We also sponsor the ATB Financial Arts Barns, one of Edmonton’s busiest mixed-use arts venues in the heart of the Fringe district.
Edmonton Comedy Festival
Sometimes, there’s nothing better than a good laugh! That’s why ATB has happily supported the Edmonton Comedy Festival for many years. The festival brings in world-famous comedians from across North America, and gives a great spotlight to some of Alberta’s funniest homegrown talent.
Grande Prairie Street Performers Festival
A highlight of the Grande Prairie summer, the Street Performers Festival has been wowing audiences for 20 years. ATB has been proud to support the festival for close to a decade. This family-friendly event has something for everyone and is a wonderful place to take the kids.
