  1. Business-level limits are set by ATB. ATB team members can modify these limits in consultation with your company’s signing authorities and Corporate Admin. Business-level limits apply to all Users performing transactions, including the Corporate Admin. Role-level limits must be equal to or lower than business-level limits.
  2. Role-level limits are managed by the Corporate Admin or a User with Manage Role permissions. The User with Manage Role permissions can set limits for various types of payments and transactions for each Role.

When creating or editing a Role, the User will be presented with products and services that are enabled for the company. Approvals are applied by clicking on the applicable services and associated options that appear on the screen. There will be dropdowns with the following options for the type of approval required:

  1. No Approval Required: This is the default ATB Business approval level
  2. Single Approval Required: Actions completed by a User with Manage Role permissions will require the approval of one other User with the same entitlement
  3. Dual Approval Required: Actions completed by a User with Manage Role permissions will require the approval of two different Users with the same entitlement
  4. Deny: A User may have a specified limit amount. If this limit is exceeded, the transaction will fail and not be sent for approval

Note: Users cannot approve their own transactions nor can a User approve the same transaction twice if dual approval is required.

When creating or editing a Role, the User will be presented with ATB products and services that are enabled for the company. Limits are applied by clicking on the applicable services and associated options that appear on the screen. There will be form fields to apply dollar amounts as limits for each product. Role-level limits must be equal to or lower than business-level limits.

A Role may not be edited further until previous requests for approval have been completed. If there are no pending approvals, edits can be made.

At this time, a Role cannot be deleted.
