How to activate and deactivate a user and edit a user’s role on ATB Business

Learn how to activate, deactivate and edit a user’s role on ATB Business’s online banking platform.

Activate and deactivate user

On the Users tab of the Roles & Users pages, click on a User to go to the User details. In the User details, under Active there’s a toggle that’s On.

If you’d like to deactivate the User, click on the toggle to switch it to Off. A pop up message will show up to confirm the deactivation. You’ll be prompted to type out a reason to deactivate the user.

After you enter the reason and you click Deactivate, the User will immediately be locked out from accessing your accounts.

The toggle will indicate Off and the reason you entered will be beside it.

If you want to reactivate the User, you can click on the Off toggle and the User will be active again once they login to ATB Business.

Viewing and changing a user’s role

On the Roles & Users page, under the Users tab, click on the User you want to edit to get to their profile page. Click Change role. Here you can select which role you’d like to switch them to from a list of the available roles in your business. You’ll also be able to see the number of Users in each Role. Click Save to confirm the change.
