Matt Evans is a seasoned executive with nearly two decades of leadership experience and specialized expertise in the wealth and investment management sectors.

With a career deeply rooted in Western Canada and complemented by a broad national perspective, Matt brings an exceptional blend of strategic vision and industry insight to his role at ATB. He is responsible for leading ATB’s wealth advisory, investment management, and private banking functions, as well as BCV Asset Management Inc., ensuring a cohesive and elevated experience for clients.

Prior to joining ATB Financial, Matt established a distinguished track record within the financial sector, with a focus on growth strategy, business transformation, corporate development and merger integration. Today, he oversees ATB Wealth’s four primary lines of business and ensures the delivery of sophisticated, integrated solutions and the high-level expert advice that defines the ATB client experience.

Originally from the Okanagan, Matt was raised in Fox Creek, Alberta, and now calls Edmonton home. Matt is a CFA charterholder and a passionate lifelong learner. He loves to compete as part of an enthusiastic team and he gets his energy from working together on complex, high-stakes challenges.
