Currency Exchange Rates
Cash rates are against Canadian dollars, applying to transactions up to $9,999. Rates are for reference only as they can vary, depending when the conversion is executed. Cash rates apply to the buying and selling of physical foreign currency.
Non-cash rates apply to transfers, payments, cheque, drafts, and other transactions where no physical currency is exchanged. Non-cash rates are generally more favourable than cash rates because of the cost and risks associated with shipping and handling physical foreign currency.
