How to use INTERAC e-Transfer® Autodeposit on ATB Personal

Learn how to set up and manage INTERAC e-Transfer Autodeposit on the ATB Personal banking website.

Get money faster with Interac e-Transfer Autodeposit. Funds sent using Interac e-Transfer will be automatically deposited into your account without having to log on and answer a security question. To use this tutorial, you’ll need to have an Interac profile set up.

Register for Autodeposit

Edit or delete Autodeposit

 

To register for Autodeposit:

  1. Log in to ATB Personal.
  2. From the Overview screen, click your name at the far right of the primary navigation to access the profile menu.
    1. Or, when manually receiving funds through Interac e-Transfer, click Register for Autodeposit.
    2. Or click Interac preferences in the left navigation on any Interac e-Transfer money screen.
  3. From the profile menu, click Profile & Settings.
    1. Or, under Profile & Settings, click Settings.
  4. On the Profile & Settings screen, in the Settings tab, click Manage Autodeposit.
  5. On the Autodeposit screen, click Register.
  6. On the Register for Autodeposit screen, enter the Email address you want Interac e-Transfer notifications to be sent to.
  7. Choose the account you want the e-Transfers to be automatically deposited in.
  8. Click Save.
  9. You’ll get an email sent to the address you entered asking you to confirm your Autodeposit registration. Follow the instructions in the email to complete your registration.
  10. You're all done!

To edit or delete Autodeposit:


You can set up autodeposit with multiple email addresses depositing to the same account. 

To edit your Autodeposit settings:

  1. On the Autodeposit screen, you can set up additional emails by clicking Add email or edit which account Autodeposit will send your funds by clicking on the Email address of your choice.
  2. On the Edit Autodeposit screen, change the account where money sent by Interac e-Transfer will be automatically deposited.
  3. Click Save.
  4. You're all done!


To delete Autodeposit for an email address:

  1. On the Autodeposit screen, you can remove Autodeposit for a specific email by clicking on the Email address of your choice.
  2. On the Edit Autodeposit screen, click Delete.
  3. After removing Autodeposit for an email address, any funds sent by Interac e-Transfer to that email must be deposited manually.
  4. You're all done!
