Positive. Charming. Lively.

As a financial advisor based in Edmonton, Jay Patel holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a postgraduate certificate in Professional Financial Services. Jay speaks three languages, including Hindi and Gujarati, and engages his clients in long-term successful relationships, built on trust and mutual respect.

The power of financial literacy

Jay has seen firsthand the power of wealth to change a person’s life. When he first immigrated to Canada as an international student in 2012, Jay quickly realized that education and knowledge were the tools that enabled success. Jay’s client relationships are built on mutual trust and understanding, and he prides himself on providing a variety of options and exploring them with you. While the process of building a client relationship is an ongoing endeavour, Jay believes that long-term relationships are only possible by doing small things in a great way.

A caring advisor

Jay’s perspective on financial planning includes building wealth as early as you can, paying yourself first, creating a budget, paying bills promptly, investing in the future and managing debt in an effective and feasible manner. As a lifelong learner and excellent listener, Jay personally calls all his clients to celebrate their birthdays. Jay enjoys spending quality time with his family and likes to be engaged in physical activities including badminton, squash and volleyball and is currently leading his elite division cricket club.
