Need to make fixed-amount bill payments on a regular basis? Set and forget it—set up recurring bill payments to automatically pay your bills. It’s a great option if your payee doesn’t have their own autopay feature or you don’t want to use credit.

How to schedule a one-time bill payment

To schedule a recurring bill payment

1. Log in to your ATB Personal app.
2. From the Overview screen, tap Move money in the primary navigation.
3. From the Move money menu, tap Pay a bill.
   
   1. Or tap the Pay bill quick link under any deposit account.
4. On the Pay a Bill screen, in the Recurring payment tab, select the account you want to make the payment From.
5. Select the company (payee) you want to make the payment To.
6. Enter the Amount you want to pay.
7. Select the desired payment Frequency (weekly, every two weeks, monthly or yearly).
8. Pick the Starting date by tapping the date shown, which will launch a calendar view in which you can choose your preferred date.
9. Choose an endpoint for your recurring payment:
   
   1. If Never, payments will continue to be made automatically until you stop them.
   2. If End date, select the date of final payment from the calendar view. The resulting number of payments will be displayed.
   3. If Number of payments, enter the number of desired payments. The resulting end date will be displayed.
10. Tap Submit.
11. Review and verify the payment details then tap Pay bill to complete the payment.
12. You will then be shown a confirmation screen. You’re all done!

View or Cancel a Scheduled Payment

1. Log in to your ATB Personal app.
2. From the Overview screen, tap Move money in the primary navigation.
3. From the Move money menu, tap View scheduled transactions.
4. On the Scheduled Transactions screen, tap the relevant payment.
5. To cancel a scheduled payment:
   
   1. On the Transaction Details screen, tap Cancel scheduled payment.
   2. Review and confirm your decision by tapping Confirm.
