Cristiano De Carvalho

Cristiano De Carvalho is an Analyst on the Private Investment Counsel team with ATB Investment Management, based at the Calgary 8th Avenue Place office, where he serves clients in English and Portuguese. He earned a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance with Distinction from the University of Calgary’s Haskayne School of Business, while competing for five years on the Dinos soccer team, serving as captain in his final year. Cristiano also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) designation.

Building Meaningful Client Relationships

To Cristiano, a successful client relationship is built on deep trust, alignment, and true partnership. Prior to joining ATB, he worked in Corporate Strategy and Development at ATCO, specializing in corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions. Through his various roles, he has gained extensive experience in valuation, risk assessment, and complex financial modeling.

He is deeply committed to ensuring his clients know that their goals are his goals, and that he stands firmly in their corner through both challenges and successes. Raised in Brazil, Cristiano comes from a culture that places a strong emphasis on presence and living in the moment, shaping his belief that financial success isn’t solely about saving every penny for retirement, but about finding a healthy and fulfilling balance along the way.

Outside of the Office

Cristiano is proud to call Calgary home, where he lives with his wife, Camilla, and their Cockapoo, Rawry. He stays actively involved in the community as a board member of the Dinos Alumni and a volunteer soccer coach in his community. Outside of work, Cristiano enjoys golfing, barbecuing, and staying active on the soccer pitch.
