Robert Wist is a Financial Advisor based in both the Fort Macleod and Pincher Creek locations. He holds a Bachelor of Management in Economics and Finance from the University of Lethbridge.
Seeking Long-Term Growth
Robert's path to a career in financial services began at the University of Lethbridge, where he earned a Bachelor of Management in Economics and Finance. His studies centred around portfolio mathematics on the finance side and econometrics on the economics side, providing a strong analytical foundation for investment decision-making. While working at a hardware store during his studies, he discovered that his greatest satisfaction came not from working with numbers alone, but from building relationships and helping people achieve meaningful goals. Today, Robert specializes in helping clients pursue long-term growth while preserving capital. He believes the strongest client relationships are built on trust, empathy, and a shared commitment to acting in each client's best interest. For Robert, fiduciary responsibility is more than a professional obligation. It is the foundation of every recommendation and every relationship.
Beyond the Office
Outside of work, Robert enjoys golfing, snowboarding, computer coding, woodworking, and travelling. A self-proclaimed math enthusiast, he also has a lifelong passion for music and has taught himself to play more than 20 instruments. When he's not exploring a new hobby or planning his next adventure, you'll likely find him spending time with his dog, Harley.
